Select the Create New Expense Report button to open the travel expense report page to initiate and submit a new request, then perform the following steps:
Enter the employee and travel related information such as Trip Name, Purpose of Trip, Travel Start Date, Travel and End Time in the General Information section.
Enter the trip details such as Transaction Date, Start Date, End Date, Expense Type, and Destination. in the Trip Details section.
To add
additional lines to the trip details, select the Add New Line button to add a blank
line, or use the
Copy
Line icon to copy a line that you can modify as needed for a new
trip detail line. To add the mileage and per diem details, click the
Mileage and
Per Diem
buttons. To attach a receipt and quote, click the
Attach a Receipt and
Attach a Quote buttons. Note:
The Milage section is optional and it is used to record the mileage details
related to expenses incurred when you use your personal vehicle as
transport during a trip. The Per Diem section is used to record the per
diem details related to lodging, meals, and incidental expenses. This
section is optional. Receipt and quotes
are required where the actual expenses are equal to or greater than the
applicable travel policy's Receipt Minimum.
Enter the required fields in the Accounting section. This section contains the accounting information associated with the authorized travel expenses.
Select the Submit button to submit your Travel Expense Report request or select Save to save the request without submitting it.
